This marble facade graced the front of the Newseum on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. The building has now been sold and the facade donated to the Philadelphia History Center. (webmaster’s photo)

The Mahaska County Republican Central Committee hosts a booth in the Varied Industries Building during the fair every year. We get a lot of young visitors, trying their skill at answering basic civics questions.

This patriotic Ford tractor belonging to Gary Leffler appears all over at conservative events in Iowa. It has even made an appearance in an Independence Day parade in Washington DC.
